Welcome to Youth Sports

We would like to thank you for visiting the YMCA Youth Sports Website!

The YMCA has always championed physical fitness wellness.  This is especially true for children who are increasingly over-weight and inactive.  Our youth sports leagues are designed to promote a commitment to life-long fitness; we accomplish this through organized sports which emphasize game fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship and fun.  Most of our leagues are non-competitive and playing time is guaranteed to all participants.

Children ages 3 through 15 are eligible to participate in our sports leagues in soccer, basketball and t-ball.  Parents serve as volunteer coaches and assistants.  The leagues are usually six to seven weeks long, games are played on Saturdays, and practices take place one hour per week.

There is a program fee for each league that covers the costs of space (gyms or fields), on-site staff (referees) and a t-shirt or jersey for every player.
