YMCA of San Joaquin County Sports

Y Sports goes beyond the quest for victory, speed, or high scores. We aim to teach our kids how to be a leader, to live healthy lives, to forge lifelong friends, and most importantly - how to have fun! Each program we offer is an opportunity for children to learn in a supportive, non-competitive environment where we meet them at their skill level and ability.

Information

Sports Registration policy regarding dates and waitlists:

Before a player can be registered for a program, a membership account must be created and/or activated by paying the $10 annual fee. If the age group of the sport you are registering your player for is full, you will be able to place them on the waitlist.

Waitlists will start immediately for each age group after the maximum registration number has been reached. If a sports age group has been selected for a waitlist, a completed registration will still be processed, but no payment is needed**.

If a spot becomes available, the next player’s parent on the wait list will receive a phone call from 209.472.9622, shown by caller ID, notifying them of the availability and request for registration payment.

You will have until the end of that day to claim the open spot.

The time limit for your players' roster placement will be stated during the phone call or in a voicemail if the parent does not answer the phone call. If the registration payment is not completed within the 24-hour limited time, your player will be dropped from the waitlist and will no longer be able to register for the sport.

The YMCA of San Joaquin County cannot be held accountable if a voicemail message cannot be left at the phone number provided for the following reasons:

  • Voicemail box has not been set up

  • Voicemail boc is full and cannot accept new messages

  • Call cannot be completed

  • Phone call was answered and disconnected, not allowing a conversation or message

We reserve the right to close registration at any time when the maximum number of players have been rostered regardless of the number of waitlisted players.

Maximums vary for each sport's age group
